Booking a sitter on ForRico takes a few steps.
1. Search for sitters
Go to /search and enter your location, service type, and preferred dates. Filters let you narrow by service type, price range, and whether the sitter is verified.
2. Review the profile
Click on a sitter's card to see their full profile — services, pricing, gallery, reviews, and verification status.
3. Send a booking request
Click Book and fill in:
- Your pet's name and species
- The dates and times
- Any notes on routine, medication, or access
The sitter will receive your request and typically responds within a few hours.
4. Confirm and pay
Once the sitter accepts, you will be prompted to confirm the booking and complete payment. Funds are held until the stay is complete.
5. Rate and review
After the booking closes, you can leave a review for the sitter. Sitters can also review owners.
Tips
- For boarding or multi-day stays, always do a meet and greet first.
- Message the sitter through the platform chat so the conversation is documented.
