What's covered

Veterinary expenses
If your pet is injured while in a sitter's care due to negligence, we cover emergency veterinary costs up to €2,500 per incident.
€1,000
Sitter property damage
If your pet damages the sitter's property during a confirmed stay, we cover the cost of repair or replacement up to €1,000.

Our customer support team is available around the clock during active bookings to assist in any emergency.
How to file a claim

Report within 72 hours
Go to the booking detail page and click "Report an Issue" within 72 hours of the incident.

Provide documentation
Attach a veterinary invoice, repair estimate, or photo evidence as appropriate.

We investigate
Our team reviews within 3 business days and may request additional information.
- 4
Resolution
Approved claims are paid within 5-10 business days via bank transfer or your original payment method.
What's not covered
- Pre-existing conditions diagnosed before the booking began
- Injuries caused by wilful negligence or intentional acts
- Bookings arranged or paid outside the ForRico platform
- Damage exceeding the coverage limits listed above
- Loss or theft of pet accessories, food, or medication
Automatic coverage, no sign-up
The ForRico Guarantee applies automatically to every booking paid through the platform. There is nothing to activate. Coverage begins when payment is confirmed and ends 24 hours after the booking end date.
