When am I charged for a booking?

Payment is collected when you confirm a booking, not when you send the initial request.

The payment flow

1. You send a booking request — no charge yet.
2. The sitter accepts your request — no charge yet.
3. You confirm the booking and complete payment — charge happens here.
4. The stay completes and you confirm no issues — funds released to the sitter.

Payment hold

Between step 3 and step 4, the funds are held. The sitter does not receive payment until the booking is complete and you have confirmed satisfaction. This structure gives you a resolution window if anything goes wrong.

Payment methods

ForRico accepts all major credit and debit cards through the Stripe payment platform. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on ForRico servers.

Receipts

A payment receipt is sent to your registered email address after each completed booking.
