ForRico charges a platform fee on each completed booking. This fee covers payment processing, sitter verification, customer support, and platform maintenance.
Owner-side fees
Owners pay the price shown on the sitter's profile. There are no additional owner-side fees on top of the displayed price.
Sitter-side fees
Sitters pay a platform fee deducted from each payout:
- Standard sitters: 15% of the booking subtotal
- Pro sitters: 10% of the booking subtotal
What counts as the subtotal
The subtotal is the service fee multiplied by the duration or number of visits. Tips added after the stay are not subject to the platform fee.
Taxes
ForRico does not withhold income tax. Sitters are responsible for declaring their earnings in accordance with German tax law. ForRico provides earnings summaries on the payouts dashboard for tax purposes.
